Dr. Parikh was born and raised in New Jersey. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences from Drexel University in Philadelphia and graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2017. During her time in dental school, she served as Co-Director of Project Bridge at Bridge Over Troubled Waters, which provides free dental care for at-risk and runaway teens/young adults. She was also a Clinical Teaching Assistant during her fourth year. She did her externship at Winslow Indian Health Care Center in Arizona, providing dental care on 3 different Navajo reservations.
Dr. Parikh went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the University of North Carolina, where she did rotations through the dental clinics at UNC Hospital, the Durham VA, and the Orange County Health Department.
Prior to moving back to MA, Dr. Parikh lived in Annapolis, MD with her husband Patrick while he was serving in the US Army as a dentist. She worked on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and was voted Best Dentist on the Eastern Shore in 2020. Dr. Parikh has ample experience in all areas of dentistry, including crown and bridge, restoring implants, Invisalign, and root canal therapy, and strongly believes in patient education and preventive care.
She prides herself on her ability to connect with patients and plan treatment that is tailored to the individual. She is great with anxious patients due to her calm, understanding, and gentle manner, and patients love that she sings while she works! She is a member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society and participates in various CE courses to stay up to date on the latest dental information.
Dr. Parikh and her husband recently rescued a puppy named Brewski who takes up a lot of their time these days. ln their free time, they enjoy doing crossword puzzles, playing tennis, going for walks, cooking, and watching Jeopardy, football, and binge-worthy shows.
